One of our most effective techniques is Metal Quilling, a meticulous process that involves cutting a metal into thin strips and subsequently rolling, twisting, and shaping these strips. The formed metal pieces, often coils, are then arranged on a surface to create specific artistic patterns. Subsequently, the pieces are joined and fused together using a specialized soldering compound.Historians concur that quilling is an ancient art form that originated in ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians, Greeks, and Etruscans. The discovery of jewelry pieces adorned with quilling in the tombs of various ancient civilizations further supports this notion.

Due to the prohibitive cost of using precious metals, paper quilling emerged as an economical alternative to expensive metal quilling during the Renaissance. French and Italian nuns and monks were instrumental in developing this technique.

Historians believe the link between humans and lapis lazuli stretches back more than 6,500 years. The gem was treasured by the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia, Egypt, China, Greece, and Rome. I didn’t want this year to end with out thanking God for all the great things he brought to our lives in 2017, new doors that were open, the great opportunities and all the wonderful people that He put in our path.
2017 was a challenging year for us, with the loss of our home and workshop due to a fire; 2 weeks before Christmas in the end of 2016.So we started January 2017 with a big task at hand of building a new house, a new workshop and keeping up with our business. So how are we ending 2017? I share with you: For our pleasant surprise we are entering 2018 with a brand new house (jacuzzi included😊) new workshop, an outgrowth in our business, contract with new companies, and our numbers reported an increase in sales compared with previous years!How was this possible? With the help of God and you !
